As a boy, Alain Gourrier spent time with his grandfather, a photographer and sculptor who was a friend and contemporary of Picasso. He went on to study architecture and film, and then moved to the States working in post-production before becoming a director.

Alain Gourrier's work includes many car commercials with stunning visuals and special effects. He also specialises in beauty and has worked with David and Victoria Beckham and Keira Knightley.
